Upgrade your fit
Ski boots come with original liners that act as the interface between the foot and the shell. Depending on the quality and frequency of use, the liner deteriorates and becomes uncomfortable.
As a result, your equipment will require a liner replacement.
Palau Ski Boot Liners offers optimization (bootfitting) and renewal solutions for all types of ski boots by adapting a 100% thermoformable liner.
In Bootfitting, there is the Fit (Adjustment), which represents the perfect harmony achieved through the synergy between the foams used, the last chosen according to each skier's shoe size, and the thermoforming process. This meticulous combination ensures a personalized fit and exceptional comfort for every skier.
Everyone’s Fit is Unique
Palau Ski Boot Liners EVA Foams
The EVA foams used in Palau Ski Boot Liners are produced by the leading European manufacturer of innovative, high-performance foams. Unlike most so-called thermoformable liners, Palau Ski Boot Liners EVA foams are selected from the highest qualities, tested, and approved for oven thermoforming. We use and combine them according to disciplines, desired performance, and foam systems, classifying them by Hardness and Volume.
Volumes and Shapes
LV: For Low Volume, thin thickness including EVA between 5 mm and 7 mm.
MV: For Mid Volume, medium thickness including EVA between 7 mm and 9 mm.
HV: Palau High Volume, thick thickness including EVA 10 mm and 12 mm.
The Shapes are the result of Palau Ski Boot Liners' expertise, combined with that of renowned bootfitters, experienced podiatrists, and constant feedback from the mountain world.
Given the diversity of shells, disciplines, and brand-specific features, it is essential to offer an adapted selection of Styles, Lasts, and Sizes.

Palau Ski Boot Liners Styles
WRAP
The original thermoformable liner par excellence. It offers complete foot coverage with a single layer of EVA of any hardness and/or volume, doubled on the inner tibial part. The interior space (boot room) is reduced. For Alpine, Freeride, and Touring, they provide immediate transmission, solid skiing, and precise control. Combined with more or less significant reinforcements, they will increase the flex (stiffness) of the whole. For Touring and Ski Mountaineering, they are ideally close to the foot, offering remarkable agility and precision.
DUAL
The hybrid thermoformable liner. It offers partial foot coverage with a single layer of EVA of any hardness and/or volume, doubled on the inner tibial part. The liner is mounted on a sole with a canasta (toe box), improving the boot room (interior space for the foot, instep, toes) of the liner. For Alpine, Freeride, and Touring, they provide immediate transmission, solid skiing, and precise control. Combined with more or less significant reinforcements, they will increase the flex (stiffness) of the whole. For Touring and Freeride, they are ideally close to the foot, and a flex zone is added to provide slight movement.
TONGUE
The thermoformable tongue liners. Classic three-zone construction (upper, tongue, forefoot) composed of multiple EVA foams in hardness and/or volume. The interior space (boot room) is intermediate and modulated by the last used. They allow for an Instant Fit type adaptation, suitable for Alpine, Freeride, and Touring skiing at all levels. For Touring and Ski Mountaineering, they are equipped with Flex Zones, simplified tightening systems, and better reflect the dynamics of walking. They are precise to the foot and offer great precision.

The Last
The Last is an essential feature of the Palau Fit. It corresponds to the inner shape of the liner at its base, determining the width and shape of the forefoot. As a rule, last gradations range from 97 mm to 110 mm, offering a choice from narrow to wide shells.
We offer three preformed last variations to adapt to a wide diversity of feet:
R-Fit
Liners designed with a standard last suitable for the majority of alpine ski boots with an index greater than 100 mm, as well as classic and lightweight freeride and touring boots.
C-Fit
Liners designed with reduced lasts specially designed to fit alpine racing boots with a 98 mm last or lightweight touring boots.
D-Fit
Liners designed with a combination of a reduced last offset by *half a size smaller, offering an even more personalized solution for demanding skiers and obvious compatibility with the Ski Mountaineering segment.
*It is important to note that the Mondo Point length varies by 5 mm between a full size and a half size.
Sizes
Ski liners are measured on a scale called "Mondo point," which is based on the length of your foot in centimeters. To determine your Mondo point size, follow these steps:
- On a sheet of paper, place your foot with your heel against a vertical surface like a wall and trace in front of your longest toe.
- Measure the distance obtained in centimeters.
- Add a margin of 3 to 5 mm.
- Select the next whole or half size up.
If your foot length measures 26.2 cm, your indicated Mondo size is 26.5 or 27.
